Native of Romania, Dr. Florescu earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the prestigious University Carol Davila, Bucharest.After earning her degree,Dr.Florescu completed General Practice Residency program at the University of Craiova.

In 2001 Dr. Florescu became a Board Certified General Dentist in the state of California and started to practice general dentistry in beautiful San Diego. In 2008 she created La Jolla Colony Dental, an exceptional boutique dental office where she focuses on high quality dentistry for all ages.

Dr. Florescu is an avid learner and is perfecting her dental skills through Continuing Education from prestigious Dental Institutes .Her passion is restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She is also a great mentor for dental assistant students and undergraduate students looking to pursue a career in dentistry.

Outside of the office, Dr. Florescu loves traveling and spending quality time with her husband and her son.
